People who visit Everland can see panda Fubao, which will leave Korea to return to China in April, until March 3, Korea’s largest amusement park said on February 19.

Fubao will then go through a health and quarantine management process behind closed doors inside Panda World before traveling to China, in accordance with international regulations on wildlife. Under the special care of zookeepers, she will gradually go through the preparation process, including adaptation to a transfer cage.

The amusement park has organized a variety of programs for Fubao’s fans who are saddened by the farewell. Through a special program titled "It's a Miracle to Meet You, Thank You Fubao," Everland plans to present precious memories to Fubao, its keepers, and fans.

Currently, Fubao’s keepers Kang Chul-won and Song Young-kwan, who are also called Fubao’s grandfathers, are remaking the panda’s favorite bamboo toys so that she can remember her happy moments at Panda World for a long time. They are also creating enrichment spots such as hammocks and benches. A canola flower garden that keepers made for Fubao every spring was also prepared beautifully.

Starting on February 25, an event for Fubao will be held on Everland's official YouTube channel and Instagram account so that people can leave messages of support to the panda. The amusement park will select 10 people who write comments and present its admission tickets and goods that commemorate Fubao.

People can also leave comments of support to Fubao at the recently opened Panda Family Theme Gallery Bao House at the amusement park. Bao House features a variety of videos, photos, and fan artworks featuring Fubao. Visitors can also watch a touching video letter from zookeepers to the panda and take a picture at a Fubao hologram photo zone.

The messages of support to Fu Bao will be written on beautiful cards in the shape of canola flowers that Fubao likes and the cards will be decorated in the form of a flower path on the streets in Everland on the day of his departure in early April.

Starting March 4, from when visitors will be unable to see Fubao as she has to go through a quarantine and preparation process before moving, a special video screening of Fubao will be held twice a day at Everland's indoor theater. A new essay titled, "I am a Happy Grandfather of Fubao," which tells the story of the panda's family and keepers, as well as the feelings and love of keeper Kang Chul-won to Fubao, will be released on the 27th with pre-orders starting on the 21st.

An official from Everland said, "We will show Fubao all day during the operation hours of Panda World from March 1 to 3 so that visitors can make more memories with her," adding, “We are also considering a live broadcast on YouTube on March 3, which will be the last day when people can see Fubao in person in Korea."
