A woman has been caught breaking into the home of boy band BTS member Jungkook (pictured). This incident comes just months after another break-in attempt in June, when someone rang his doorbell.
Seoul’s Yongsan Police said on August 31 that a Korean woman in her 40s, identified only as Ms. A, was arrested on the spot on charges of housebreaking.
According to the police, Ms. A entered the parking area of Jungkook’s house in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at around 11:20 p.m. on August 30. The residence is a detached house, and the parking lot is normally blocked off from outside access.
In June, a similar incident occurred when a Chinese woman in her 30s attempted to break into Jungkook’s home.
The Police said that the woman, identified as Ms. B, repeatedly tried to enter the property by pressing the door code on the night of June 11. She was arrested on suspicion of attempted housebreaking and later referred to prosecutors without detention on August 27. Ms. B, who does not reside in Korea, reportedly stated that she had traveled to the country to see Jungkook following his military discharge.
