A man in his 30s who broke into the home of actor Nana, formerly of the group ‘After School’, in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, to carry out a robbery has been apprehended by police.

Guri Police Station announced on the 15th that a man in his 30s, identified as A, had been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted aggravated robbery and is under investigation. At about 6 a.m. that day, A allegedly entered a high-end villa in Acheon-dong, Guri, carrying a weapon, threatened the occupants, and demanded money.

At the time, Nana and her mother were inside the home, and the two reportedly subdued A after a physical struggle and immediately called the police. When police and fire authorities arrived, A was injured and is currently being treated after being transported to a hospital.

Sublime, the agency representing Nana, issued a statement the same day, stating, “The robber broke into the residence carrying a weapon, and this created a very dangerous situation in which both actor Nana and her mother could have suffered serious harm.” Sublime continued, “Due to a physical attack by the assailant, the mother of actor Nana experienced a situation in which she lost consciousness from a severe injury,” and added, “Actor Nana also sustained bodily injuries while getting out of the crisis situation.”

Sublime stated, “Both are currently in need of treatment and absolute rest,” and added, “Sublime is cooperating faithfully with the investigative authorities.” The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, questioning A and the victims.
