About 120,000 seats for the group BTS’s two-day concert to be held this July at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London have sold out.
Concert promoter Live Nation UK announced on the 6th (local time) via social media, “BTS’s ARMY has achieved the highest seat occupancy for a single show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.”
BTS will hold concerts on July 67 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. With a 360-degree stage announced that allows viewing from all directions, all tickets were sold.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the home ground of Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League (EPL) where Son Heung-min has played, has a capacity of 62,000. Since opening in 2019, it has hosted performances by Stray Kids, Beyonc, and Travis Scott.
BTS will kick off a world tour of 34 cities at the Main Stadium of Goyang Sports Complex on April 9. Including the London shows, all currently bookable dates on the tour have sold out.
BTS’s new album ‘Arirang’ is also drawing significant attention. The fifth full-length album ‘Arirang,’ scheduled for release on the 20th of next month, ranked No. 1 for three consecutive weeks on Spotify’s ‘Countdown Chart Global.’ Countdown Chart Global tallies pre-save numbers for albums and singles ahead of release.
On March 21, the day after the release of ‘Arirang,’ BTS will hold a comeback live performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The show will be broadcast live on Netflix to more than 190 countries.
