International oil prices have topped $100 per barrel.
According to Bloomberg, as of 6:19 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on the 8th (7:19 a.m. Korea time on the 9th), the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures price was $105.52 per barrel, surpassing $100 per barrel for the first time since July 2022.
Bloomberg reported that Brent crude likewise surged 10% from the previous session to $102.20.
