With the ‘Alert’ level of the resource security crisis declared due to the prolonged Middle East war, starting on the 8th all public parking lots nationwide will implement the 5-day restriction for passenger cars, but Incheon Airport is excluded.
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced that the public parking lots at Incheon Airport are excluded from the 5-day restriction for passenger cars.
At Incheon Airport, six sites are designated as public parking lots, including the long-term parking lots for Terminals 1·2, the cargo terminal parking lot, and the Airport Railroad Cargo Terminal Station parking lot.
The airport corporation explained that, for passenger convenience, it was excluded from the 5-day restriction for passenger cars for reasons such as ‘impact on livelihoods’.
Accordingly, passengers can use the public parking lots at Incheon Airport regardless of the 5-day restriction for passenger cars.
The 5-day vehicle rotation restricts access to public parking lots by day of the week according to the last digit of a license plate. Mondays are 1·6, Tuesdays 2·7, Wednesdays 3·8, Thursdays 4·9, and Fridays 5·0. Saturdays·Sundays and public holidays are excluded.
Meanwhile, for Incheon International Airport Corporation staff and official vehicles, the public institution 2-day rotation applies. Under the 2-day scheme, vehicles with an odd last digit operate on odd-numbered dates, and those with an even last digit on even-numbered dates.
