In Boryeong City, South Chungcheong Province, there are filming locations that gained fame after appearing as settings in dramas and films. Cheonbuk Green Barley Field, Cheongso Station, and Ocheon Port are representative spots and are drawing attention as spring outing destinations.
According to Boryeong City on the 9th, the Green Barley Field located in Cheonbuk-myeon is a well-known site where the dramas <Our Beloved Summer> and <Death Game> were filmed. In <Our Beloved Summer>, it appears as the travel destination where the main characters confirm their feelings for each other, and in <Death Game> it also serves as the backdrop for moving scenes that stayed with viewers.
The Green Barley Field reaches its peak from mid April to early May. Green barley grown to waist height for adults ripples in the wind, creating waves of blue-green. From a cafe on a hill that was converted from a closed ranch, visitors can also enjoy an open view of the field.
Cheongso Station, located in Cheongso-myeon, Boryeong City, is the oldest flag stop on the Janghang Line, having begun operations in 1929. It became widely known after being publicized as a filming location for the 2017 film <A Taxi Driver>, which drew 10 million viewers. The modest, old-fashioned station building maintains the small-station architectural style and has been designated Registered Cultural Heritage No. 305.
Around the station, the streetscape of the 1980s depicted in the film is relatively well preserved, and photo spots and installations are in place, providing visitors with a distinctive experience.

Ocheon Port is a signature tourist destination in Boryeong known as a filming site for the 2019 KBS drama <When the Camellia Blooms>. Chungcheong Suyeongseong Fortress, perched on the hill above the harbor, is a stone fortress built in 1510 and was the center of coastal defense along the West Sea for Chungcheong Province during the Joseon era.
From Yeongbojeong Pavilion inside the fortress, visitors can take in at a glance the boats moored at Ocheon Port and the West Sea. At night, lighting along the fortress walls adds a different mood to the scenery. Nearby, visitors can also enjoy fresh seafood such as pen shells.
