SK hynix ranked No. 1 among the "large companies that are good to work for" chosen by current employees.

The company information platform "Jobplanet," operated by Worksphere, selected the "large companies that are good to work for" based on reviews posted over the past year by current and former employees of domestic large companies, from April last year through last month, and announced the results on the 18th. Five points were assigned to each of five categories, work-life balance, promotion opportunities, pay and benefits, corporate culture, and CEO approval, and these were simply summed to a perfect score of 25.

As a result, SK hynix topped the list with 20.92 points. Except for work-life balance (3.97), SK hynix ranked first in the other four categories: pay and benefits (4.7), corporate culture (4.18), CEO approval (4.05), and promotion opportunities (4.02). Many reviews said, "High satisfaction with salaries and bonuses" and "There are diverse welfare points and partnership perks." Jobplanet observed that SK hynix's CEO approval rose from 3.95 in 2024 to 4.05 last year, analyzing, "As labor and management reached an agreement on the 2025 bonus structure, trust appears to have increased in the compensation system and communication methods."

GS Caltex ranked second with a total of 20.3 points. GS Caltex received overwhelmingly higher evaluations than other companies in work-life balance (4.73), ranked second in promotion opportunities (3.64) and pay and benefits (4.64), and third in corporate culture (3.64) and CEO approval (3.65). Many assessments said, "The workload is relatively light" and "Working conditions and the atmosphere have become more flexible than before."

Hyundai Motor ranked third with a total of 19.5 points. Hyundai placed second in work-life balance (4.21), corporate culture (3.72), and CEO approval (3.8), and third in promotion opportunities (3.43) and pay and benefits (4.34). Many reviews said, "Pay is high relative to workload" and "Working hours are kept relatively strictly."

POSCO Holdings (4th, 17.23), NH NongHyup Bank (5th, 16.95), Samsung Electronics (6th, 16.18), KT (7th, 14.82), Lotte Chemical (8th, 14.79), LG Electronics (9th, 14.7), and Hanwha (10th, 12.94) followed. A closer look at Samsung Electronics, which along with SK hynix has enjoyed a major boom in the semiconductor industry, shows it ranked 4th in promotion opportunities (3.4) and corporate culture (3.35), 6th in pay and benefits (3.85) and CEO approval (2.25), and 7th in work-life balance (3.33).
