A man in his forties who was livestreaming on the internet while riding a bicycle died in a secondary accident caused by a truck rear-end collision.

According to the Sangju Police Station in North Gyeongsang Province on the 3rd, at about 1:24 p.m. on the 2nd, on National Route 25 in Seongdong-ri, Nakdong-myeon, Sangju, a 3.5-ton cargo truck rear-ended a bicycle escort vehicle.

As a result of the crash, Mr. A, a cyclist in his forties who was riding ahead of the escort vehicle, was struck by the vehicle and died.

At the time of the accident, Mr. A was livestreaming on the internet. It is reported that around 100 people were watching the broadcast in real time.

Police are investigating the precise circumstances of the accident.
