BTS’s fifth studio album <Arirang> (ARIRANG) ranked in the ‘Top 10’ of the U.S. Billboard main albums chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
According to Billboard on the 2nd (local time), BTS’s <Arirang> rose one spot from the previous week to No. 9 on the main albums chart, the ‘Billboard 200’. Upon release, <Arirang> became the first K-pop album to top this chart for three consecutive weeks, and over the past six weeks it placed No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, No. 7, No. 8, and No. 10.
The title track ‘Swim’ (SWIM) climbed eleven spots to No. 44 on the main singles chart, the ‘Hot 100’, and topped the Billboard Global chart excluding the U.S. for four consecutive weeks. Since its release, it has taken No. 1 on this chart in weeks 1∼4 and 7∼10, for a total of eight times at the summit.
BTS will also take the stage at the ‘2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival’, to be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 18. They will perform alongside global pop artists including Cardi B and Snoop Dogg.
On the ‘Billboard 200’, Le Sserafim’s second studio album ‘Pureflow’ (PUREFLOW) made its debut at No. 10.
From Le Sserafim’s first studio album <Unforgiven> (UNFORGIVEN) (No. 6) to the third mini-album ‘Easy’ (EASY) (No. 8), the fourth mini-album <Crazy> (CRAZY) (No. 7), the fifth mini-album <Hot> (HOT) (No. 9), and this new release, five consecutive albums have entered the chart’s ‘Top 10’.
The original soundtrack (OST) album for the Netflix animated film <K-Pop Demon Hunters> ranked No. 19. Cortis <Greengreen> (GREENGREEN) placed at No. 42.
