According to exit polls conducted by the three broadcasters KBS·MBC·SBS for the 6·3 local elections held alongside the National Assembly by-election, in Pyeongtaek-eul, Gyeonggi, Cho Kuk of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party is projected to receive 31.1%, Yoo Ui-dong of the People Power Party 30.6%, and Kim Yong-nam of the Democratic Party 30.3%.

In a projection survey conducted by JTBC, Kim Yong-nam of the Democratic Party is projected at 34.2%, and Cho Kuk of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party at 31.6%.
