According to exit poll results from the three terrestrial broadcasters (KBS·MBC·SBS) for the June 3 local elections, the Daegu and Busan mayoral races, both key battlegrounds, are expected to be neck-and-neck within the margin of error.

In Daegu's mayoral race, the exit polls projected People Power Party candidate Chu Kyung-ho at 49.9% and Democratic Party candidate Kim Boo-kyum at 49.1%.

In Busan's mayoral race, Democratic Party candidate Jeon Jae-soo is projected at 50.2%, and People Power Party candidate Park Hyung-joon at 48.3%.
