HYBE announced on the 8th that BTS will run the program ‘Korea Gallery trail at the British Museum through the 23rd (local time) to introduce Korean cultural heritage. This program is part of the ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - LONDON’ project, which turns London into a music experience space themed on the fifth album ‘Arirang’.

The program opened on the 6th at the Korea Gallery of the British Museum. HYBE explained, “It is a program designed to select artifacts from the permanent collection of the Korea Gallery that align with the hope, resilience, and sense of belonging inherent in ‘Arirang’ and to encourage linked viewing.”

It is said to weave together items such as the ‘sarangbang,’ which symbolizes a new beginning, the ‘moon jar,’ which shows humanity, the ‘gold earrings’ imbued with exquisite craftsmanship, and the ‘sumaksae (roof tile)’ that embodies cultural vitality. It added that, inspired by the sound of the Bell of King Seongdeok the Great included on track 6, ‘No.29,’ of ‘Arirang,’ the program was organized around artifacts from the Silla period.

HYBE said, “Visitors scan a QR code at the entrance to the Korea Gallery, then follow the instructions to view the artifacts and participate in a social campaign. Answering the question ‘What is Your Arirang?,’ they can share on social media the artifact that connects with their own lives.”

BTS held the London concerts of the ‘Arirang’ world tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 6∼7.
