With heavy rain advisories in effect across Seoul, Hangang Bus service has been partially suspended.

The operator ‘Hangang Bus’ announced on the 9th via its website that “Due to weather conditions, the Jamsil, Ttukseom, Seoul Forest, Oksu, and Apgujeong piers are temporarily out of service.”

Hangang Bus has eight piers in total: Magok, Mangwon, Yeouido, Apgujeong, Oksu, Seoul Forest, Ttukseom, and Jamsil. Among these, five piers on the Jamsil~Yeouido section were suspended starting with the first run at 11 a.m. that day. The Magok~Yeouido section is operating normally. Service resumption updates can be checked on the Hangang Bus website.

Meanwhile, as of 1 p.m. that day, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is restricting access to 29 streams in the city and partially operating 25 rainwater pumping stations. The city activated Level 2 duty starting at 12:10 p.m., when the heavy rain advisory was issued. A total of 5286 personnel are on duty.
